    Default Impending Snowpocalypse, show/movie recs?

Call me terrible, but, after reading the thread over in h/j land and an impending snow storm that's forecasted to dump a foot of snow in 24 hours....and my love for trashy tv....

Does anyone have links to watch Unstable in the US? All of my searches have come up dry

    ^^ that was my OP.

EDITED: Any series you recommend? I'm sure I'll be snowed in for a while.

You mean that horse reality show??? Avoid it at all costs. Trust me!
If you're not into Breaking Bad, watch that instead, not horsey, but ohhhh so good!

That show is everything you could possibly dislike about a yard, televised. I second the Breaking Bad recommendation instead.

I won't mind being snowed in so long as I have power. I've got a huge movie collection to keep me busy!

I thought it was weird when I heard it had a name....I think a foot anywhere in less than a day is a lot to handle-midwest or not. Not sure about you, but have you ever had to dig out your car after the plows bury it, not be able to open your front door because there's too much snow, lose power/heat for a day or two, and get everything covered in ice?

You could say I'm a little salty and "over it". Keep the suggestions rollin in!

BTDT, the last big snow we had was 96, 20+ inches, the city was trucking snow to the river n dumping it in or dumping it into valleys outside town. Lost power for 3 days one snowstorm in Feb, 94 I think, transformer blew up & too much snow to go up hill to fix. Lost power last July too, nearly froze to death in that one .

Yes, yes and yes. But it's December - 'tis the season!

Yep. Once as a kid in north Idaho visiting family. Once in 2001, and once in 2010. 2010 we got inundated here at the farm. 2001 was pre farm/wife/horses so I shoveled enough snow to hump it out with 2 suitcases a half mile uphill & flew to Ireland for a week where, oddly, it was in the upper 60's.

Dune and Children of Dune make a good long watch, as does The Stand...

I don't have any snow in the forecast at all. I want snow too!! We have a few inches left over from the last snow storm but not very much I'm going to be really bummed if this is the second winter in a row where MN gets almost nothing.

Define "Midwest." Looks like here we might get some snow tomorrow night, maybe, if it gets cold enough. (I'm so tired of rain.)
