Live Feed: George Morris Clinic, January 2-6
I just saw that the George Morris Horsemastership clinic will be available again at www.USEFNetwork.com this year. Yay!

"Are you yawning? You don't ride well enough to yawn. I can yawn, because I ride better than you. Meredith Michael Beerbaum can yawn. But you? Not so much..."

Looks like a great group! Very excited to be completely non-productive next week.

Is it weird that I rearranged my work schedule so that I can watch all day for the whole clinic?

I drove down there last year just to see it!

Is it going to be all George teaching this year? I know that last year was last minute replacements, but I think I got more out of watching McLain's teaching than any clinic I've ever attended - wish he were doing another segment this year!

I loved Kent last year too. While I would never wish anyone to be ill (as George was last year), they still did an excellent job in his absence last year.

And he just canters straight out of the ring into another ring clearly marked "Ring Closed" I LOVE it!

Who did he say that horse belonged to? His favorite 'pet'? Christina something?
We're spending our money on horses and bourbon. The rest we're just wasting.

Does anyone know if they will have the feed available on demand after like they have in past years? I can only dash down to my office to watch for short periods, but I LOVE watching this clinic!

Somebody else will probably come up with a better Dos Equis line for that move. "GM does not let others tell him when the ring is closed. He tells them when to close the ring."
And I will just say, not only would I love to ride half as well now as GM does at his age, I would love to be half as fit now as he is at his age. To flat that horse that way and talk the whole time? That's not easy!
