Smile Meet the new project horse

Here he is! He passed his vetting today. He is going to my trainer to become an eventer, but I think he wants to be a little girl's pony club horse. He is so sweet!

    Here is his pedigree.

After the Races was great to deal with. We are going to compete him with the AtR acronym. May have to change his JC name, though. It's a bit effeminate!

Wow... love the markings on his face, and what a sweet looking guy! Congrats!

Cute! How about After The Bells, as in the bells that start the races?

After the Balls? (He's a gelding, right? ;-)

He looks like a very good egg. Have fun with him!

Lol! Wouldn't want to humiliate him! I like After the Bell, though.

Lovely horse DEFINITELY change the name, though--poor guy!

(And looking at his poor feet makes me want to smack the farrier around , good on this horse for staying sound!)

    Best of luck with him!

Yeah, his feet look awful in those pics, which were straight off the track. He was reshod last month, and we now have rads so that we know how far still we can bring the toes back. Sole depth actually looked pretty good too, so I am optimistic he is going to end up with decent feet (knock on wood!)
