Default What should we have instead of TU/TD? And new emoticons?

How about a nodding emoticon and a purse (Aunt Esther's, for a poster who needs a smack upside the head). And a *headdesk* emoticon.

I would like a unicorn emoticon just because it's a unicorn. Totally agree on the head-desk one.

I would like many more new emoticons. They aren't hard to add. Just takes thirty seconds to upload and configure in the forum software.

This is the only forum I play on so I don't really know what's out there, Lex.

Whatever you want. The possibilities are endless. There's a whole sub-culture of forums and chat users built around creating emoticons.

For heaven's sake, make sure one gets sent out to everybody. Otherwise, next OT day will be full of "Waaaah, I didn't get a unicorn!"

just get rid of the "thumbs" thing and don't replace it with anything.

But yeah, emoticons- can never have too many.

This place is really lacking in quality emoticons.

My main forum has a few hundred.

I must be odd, I kind of like that most of Coth posts are not covered in dingleberries.

I would like the beating a dead horse emoticon, please.

Yes, the thumbs can go, but we will need an emoticon for those many that love them so much to mourn them properly.

Agreed. Most of the new and improved emoticons are lame.

I want COTH to get rid of the thumbs up/down altogether, and instead notify us when someone quoted a post of ours.
