I have a Gore-tex turnout sheet (Club Dry) and that in my experience is the only truly waterproof sheet. Can wash it till the cows come home and it will still be waterproof. I'm always on the look out for other sheets should my beloved Club Dry get destroyed but nothing comes close. I've tried the Turtleneck's which supposedly have a membrane for waterproofing...leaked first time. I've tried them several times now and have given up. I tried the Saratoga Typhoon turnout sheet...supposed to be 100% waterprooof. Leaked after the second use. Guess I need to hope that my Club Dry lasts forever. I put a Kensington type fly sheet over top of it to try to protect it!!
