Basic lateral work, suppling and gymnastic exercises will be included as part of the discussion. Various methods will be discussed and shown throughout the day.

This clinic is the culmination of the weeks leading up to this session, so it may behoove participants to sign up for the prior sessions. More advanced exercises and techniques will be added for the more advanced students and horses as their proficiency and confidence allows.

If demand warrants, we will repeat this schedule again in February 2013 to allow for additional participants and the sharing of knowledge before the start of the show season. These clinics build on the techniques discussed in the previous week's session, so it may be of value to attend all three.

First Demo Horse will start at 10:30 AM on Sunday December 23rd. We realize this clinic is very close to Christmas Day and will be repeating this series in February. This clinic topic will be repeated on Sunday February 3rd. Nonetheless, there is a great deal of information to share, so we would love to have a headcount for the Auditors.

Due to the heaps of rain we have gotten, trailer parking will be on the roadside (west edge) as it is no fun to pull trailers in what was once grass. We encourage some overlap of riders during their warm up/cool down time, so the lessons are set at 45 minute intervals but feel free to enter the ring 5-10 minutes ahead of your time slot and linger after you have finished. Auditor park is by the green bank barn.

We will have some hot refreshments - hot chocolate and coffee as well as some extra blankets (coolers) to help keep our auditors from freezing to death. Bundle up and we look forward to seeing you all on Sunday!

    NOTICE!!!
Mother Nature has decided to make driving treacherous and riding in a clinic too chilly for tomorrow, so we are postponing things for one week. Lateral Work Demystified will be held on Jan 6th. We welcome all riders and auditors on that date.
Stay home and stay safe tomorrow!

The Flying Change Seminar will be held on January 13th - weather permitting!!!

    Flying Change Seminar Times 1/13/13

9:30 AM Demonstration Part 1 and Discussion
10:15 Demo Part 2 and Discussion
    11:15 Karyn & Tasker
    12:00 Lauren & Rochelle
    12:45 Pat

This Seminar is the culmination of the three part series we have offered. A second clinic series begins again on February 3rd with our Riding Fundamentals Clinic, Demystifying Lateral Work on February 17th and another Flying Change Seminar on February 23rd. If you can not make these dates, the same material is covered in private lesson with both Anne and Ellie throughout the year by appointment.

If you are interested in signing up for this FCS - please email Anne@watermark-farm.net to discuss what will be required of both horse and rider.

Refreshments will be served - coffee, cocoa, water and a hot dish in the crockpot. There is a restroom on premises.

Auditors need to bring chairs and dress for the weather.

    Auditors $10 for the day.

Riding Fees are $75 for a private 45 minute session. It is $25 to borrow a WF horse for the clinic(s). A word of warning that it does help to have had regular lessons with your particular WF mount in order to attain the highest level of harmony between horse and rider. Our horses are quite sensitive and highly trained, so they can not be treated like machines when it comes to presenting this work.

Any additional questions, please email Ellie@watermark-farm.net
