Flip a coin. It's not what side lands that matters, but what side you were hoping for when the coin was still in the air.

when is your kiddo out of the cast? HITS is coming soon, as is Live Oak CDE (in March), I am sure there are TB sales coming soon to Ocala Breeder Sales. (always fun to sit and watch).

Oh HITS would be lovely to attend, I just started riding hunters so observing rounds would be educational and fun! He comes out of the cast(hopefully) at the beginning of January. More to come on the 28th this month!

I'm in Ocala too!! Ponies, donk, mini and stray puppies to pet LOL. Also TB training center near HITS if you want to see racehorses. Lunch at Pepe's is ok, but the spinach salad at Horse and Hounds is great and has the added bonus of being located near a tack shop!Count me in for any Ocala meet up

I am! Also west of Asheville. I'm currently horse/barn-less, but I'm hoping to change at least one part of that soon. Any of you WNC COTHers on Facebook should join this group so we can have another place to find local horse resources: http://www.facebook.com/groups/307130539392461/

Any of you Central NCers want to buy a townhouse in Durham? I just so happen to have a husband who owns one that is preventing us from having disposable income (for things like a horse for me and a house in our current town) and would be HAPPY to no longer be responsible for it

That sounds like a plan. I'm always there anyway after the gym. I'm assuming, as a horse person, you don't mind meeting a person in possibly sweaty/dirty clothes. Eek. And hey, maybe an Ocala trip in the future to meet other COTHers. A pig, HITS, Mexican food, and now we can throw a donk in the mix. Sounds like a banner day!

I'll PM you later this week to firm up meet-up plans. Fun!

I lived in Ocala for 10 years, I wonder if I know Punkie already. (but I was in the CDE world up there) I need to head up to take my dog up the Town and Country Vet for his annuals.

We can road trip up to Ocala, only if we can go to Pepe's for lunch.

I apparently have a thing for Mexican food
