Default Lexington, VA vs. Charlottesville, VA Dover Stores?

Next Saturday I'm heading down south for xmas and driving right past both Dover's in Lexington and Charlottesville. Have a gift certificate burning a hole in my pocket.

Any Advice on which store is better (CS, selection, etc)?

    Thanks!

I've never been in the lexington store but the Charlottesville store is very nice, the store manager and staff are very nice and helpful.

I've been in both and IMHO the C'ville store is better stocked. Check your catalog before you go. If there is something you want and it's in stock but not in the store they will have it shipped to your house with no shipping charge. Also take any sale fliers. Sometimes the store prices are higher than the fliers and they will honor the lower price.

The Charlottesville store is much better stocked and has a wider selection.

Becky and her staff at the Lexington store are the best! I have been in both stores and don't think there is a great difference- the Charlottesville store may be a little larger.

I worked at the Lexington store in college and loved it- agree, Becky et al are the best! It is a smaller physical space than the C-ville store, but, like a previous poster said, you can have stuff shipped if it's not in stock. Plus the town of Lexington is one of my very favorite places- you should stop for lunch on Main St. when you're done shopping!
If it were easy, everybody would do it.

Since the Charlottesville store moved, it is definitely bigger and better stocked than the Lexington store.
