On a local level a coworker organized the office gift xchange this way, you got a name and found a toy that suited that person. Maybe something they would have liked or reminded you of them. The toys were then donated to the local toy drive I think we all had more fun knowing some kid was gonna get a remote controlcar or a baby doll than with a blanket or a mug.
