Unhappy The high waisted, longer crotch breeches of yore

Any think that style will ever return? I see a couple higher waisted versions, but none have the longer crotch of old. Why? There still has to be a need for them.

If you get "long" breeches instead of "regular", the crotch is usually cut longer too.

Aah! THAT explains why I always order "longs", despite my short legs!

I despise the low cut styles, but understand some gals love 'em. Let a thousand flowers bloom, but retain some high-waisted styles, please!

Not true, anymore. Long seems to know be only in the leg and no longer ( ) in the crotch.

Eh, some of us have short torsos so "regular" breeches of old were pretty much onesies!! Not a flattering look after the age of, say, 10 months!!

and for those of us that need a higher rise in our breeches, the search is hard.Equissentials are good,as they can be made to your measurements.Fits pull on breeches are good as well.

Good fellow breeches can be custom ordered but have high waist styles with a good long rise.

I've never heard of the Grimleys but how abou the RHC breeches in white with a black full seat (synthetic) in the Dressage Extensions catalog (Winter 2012-2013) page 61 (new arrivals)? they are only $99.95 and say they have a high waist and are microfiber, front zip. According to the photo they have belt loops too and go to size 36 long.

Dang, they use Clarino. Feels like wearing diapers. Wish they were leather or one of the high tech, stretchy material for the seats!

I have a short torso, but a long rise (measurement around front of waist to back of waist). The best fit has always been when I made the breeches myself.
