Sometimes it is hard to remember to be thankful for things. And since I sometimes struggle with depression, it can be hard sometimes to find those things to be thankful for. So maybe 4-6 months ago, I started making it a habit each night to say a prayer and tell God at least three things I am thankful for. Sometimes it is little things, like, "I am thankful for sprinkles on donuts!" (Some days I have to reach ). Other times it is bigger things, like "I'm thankful for an excellent husband." Some nights I list dozens of things I was thankful for that day.
