    amen.

    I just keep thinking about the parents and I feel sick with grief for them. This is truly beyond comprehension.

    I am devastated. This happened 10 minutes from my house, in the next town over. I am broken hearted for the families of the children, teachers, the police officers, EMT's, for a friends little girl who was a witness, for my daughters who babysit a little girl who would have gone to this school, for my son who just doesn't understand how this could happen but doesn't want me to be sad. What is wrong with the world, that kindergarteners are not safe in their school

    Amen, the heartbreak is unimaginable. I listened to Megyn Kelley interview a mom who lost her Daughter Rachel at columbine today. Her grief 13 years later was still so raw.

    A friend posted this and if we all could understand and follow this.

    Prayer of St Francis

    Make me an instrument of peace.
    Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
    Where there is injury, pardon.
    Where there is doubt, faith.
    Where there is despair, hope.
    Where there is darkness, light.
    Where there is sadness, joy.

    Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
    to be understood, as to understand;
    to be loved, as to love.
    For it is in giving that we receive.
    It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
    and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life

    I am so saddened by this senseless tragedy. There were also 22 young children stabbed at a school in China today. May peace come to all the families of these tragedies. Its impossible for me to fathom the hatred that lives in the heart of someone who could commit such a crime. I think we should pray for those people as well.

    You never recover when your child passes before you. Time does not heal this wound... some years are worse than others. I still remember the day my son died like it was yesterday and the feelings are still so raw.

    Going on 7yrs since he died of Streptococcus Encephalitis. 12/18/1999-4/29/2006 Hopefully, Jamie is greeting his new playmates.....

    Seeing animals who had perished for whatever reason bothered me terribly as a child, to the point where I'd become depressed at the thought of the pain and fear they might have suffered before finally passing. I was a terribly screwed up kid.

    My grandmother told me one day that those who suffered at such terrible moments were 'surrounded by angels and wrapped in loving, heavenly arms'. My grandma knew God well, and I know when she passed that she, too was surrounded by a heavenly choir, passing beyond her pain into the arms of our Savior.

    I pray angels surrounded every soul as it fled its earthly home, and Jesus stood waiting to enfold them in His arms.
