Amen. I was completely focused on my own pain and hardships before I saw this story this morning and it really makes you take a step back and realize what a nightmare this is for the people that are close to it. I cannot even imagine what they must be going through. Continuing to send prayers!

Amen. I picked up my oldest (six years old) from school this afternoon and he ran out to give me a hug. I can't even imagine the hearts of those parents who didn't get to do that today.

As an EMT I have spent countless hours training for a mass casualty. I believe if called upon in a situation such as this I could render aid in an efficient manner despite the horror that is all around me. But I don't think I would ever be the same. You can't unring a bell or unsee a sight or make sense out of the senseless. I agree completely with the OP that today changed everyone's lives. They do need our prayers and support.

I do not have children, but my heart weeps for those that lost Gods most precious gift today. For the families that are grieving, and for all parents who are hugging their babies close and thanking God their own are safe, and at the same time, crying for the parents of the 20 young lives lost today.
I\'m not crazy. I\'m just a little unwell.

Amen, I fear that there will be more tragedy from the families to follow, in the form of divorces, depression, and sucides,
