Default Recommend any Fencing Contractors in Louisville/Lexington area?

We are looking to fence our 16 acre farm and are looking to get bids from reputable fencing contractors. We received bids from 2 of the "big guys" but are there any smaller REPUTABLE contractors out there, who does good work, that anyone has had good luck with and can recommend? We are wanting both 4 board and wire fencing done.

They are one of the big guys, but Shuck Fence has great customer service and competitive pricing.

Thank you for your response. So far they are our first choice and I agree they have been excellent. I just always like to give the little guy a chance if their product is comparable.

We have used Shuck for all of our four board and most recently to fence our new arena with three board. We've been very happy with them. However, when it comes to painting I think they are a little expensive. They painted our original fencing, but we have subsequently used a guy recommended by our neighbor who charged less and does great work.

    Default Mills Fence

In Walton KY 859-485-6655. They've done over a mile of 4 board and quite a bit of wire for us, great guys, great material, wonderful job and attention to detail. We've used them for the last ten years with zero complaints. Walton is about 45 minutes north of Lexington for reference.

    I'd recommend Shuck as well.

Anybody wanna share the rate per foot of 4 board fence? I'm just curious- I'm too far from Lexington and can't afford pro installed fence anyway.

A couple of years ago it was $6.75 for 4 board. I believe that included painting.
