16.2hh Appendix QH gelding. Built more like a TB. Just had the tree widened to a "wide". He was a medium wide. He's not fat, but he is definitely more round and flat.

My halter bred paint gelding (own son of RH Mr Imprint) measured between an XW and XXW for the County Innovation and I ended up getting him a custom XW hoop tree Black Country Ricochet... Apparently halter horses weren't meant to jump

    Unfortunately Friesian.

She's got a laid back wither with massive meaty shoulders. Nothing but a wide/xw and sometimes those don't even fit right, depending on the saddle.

Appendix Quarter Horse, maybe 16hh. She got the worst of both worlds. Withers AND a broad back, lol. So far the best fitting saddle (not perfect, but almost!) is a County Stabilizer, wide tree, with Skid Row panels. Now THAT was a hard one to find!

2 foundation TWH's. The gelding is built like a brick house, the mare is equally as wide but long and tall also. My yearling looks like he will be a stout guy.

Thumbs up just my 2 cents!

Extra Wide Marcel Toulouse Premia when they are fat & outa shape and Wide Crosby Prix de Nations when they are fit & normal weight.....mostly I use the extra wide tho"!!!
