I have a lovely pair of brown Frye riding boots that I wear often with skinny jeans (for everyday wear, not for riding -- although once in awhile I do ride in them) and the ankles have become pretty darn soft like a pair of really broken-in field boots, causing them to slouch more than I'd like.

I was wondering if there's a trick I could use to make them a little stiffer -- not dressage-boot stiff, but just less baggy around the ankles.

Any tips, or is that just how these things go??
