    Default Small Hole Haynet Success!

After waiting months to receive my small hole haynets from Equestrian Collections, I finally have them and using them to great success!

My two mustangs (aka, the Hoovers) have gone from finishing up their hay in record beating times to actually taking 3+ hours having to pick little bits out at a time. Zephyr was very ticked off when I first hung it up. She batted it around a little and gave me the dirtiest look - how dare I! Too bad sister. These nets are also very easy to load and looks like they will hold up. Should have gotten them sooner. Love them!

I got one for a mare who was a hog. Worked for a little while then I noticed she was finishing it quickly again. She chewed a big hole in it and was able to get it as fast as she wanted again!

Waiting MONTHS? Why on earth did it take them so long to deliver? Remind me not to shop them.

That was what I was wondering too.

OP, glad your hay nets are working so well now that you have them.

My horse just grabs and rips. If there is nylon in the bite, so be it. They do hold up remarkably well to this abuse.

They were on back order and first told me they'd ship end of October - I had to call them to find out. When I still didn't get them, I called again and they said they shipped on the 15th of November and would take about 5 days. Well 2 weeks later, I finally got them. What annoyed me was that I had to call them to find out the status. No tracking number, no notice that it had shipped, no notice that it was on back order. I heard others had problems with this outfit and it will probably be the last time I order from them.

Try a nibble net. My horse abuses the hell out of it and it's still going.

Ooh, I may have to try that. My mare demolished the Smart Pak one in two days flat. Ripped it to shreds.

There are several places you can buy one without having to wait months!

That said, the horses at my barn give THE MOST hateful looks when you put their hay in one of them. I've never felt guilty before hanging one of those up at a show.
