Dayton OH local barn owner/eventer severely injured in fall
The owner of Cedar Springs Farm in Cedarville, OH suffered a severe spinal injury as the result of a fall during a jumping school this past Saturday December 8th.
She is recovering from surgery to stabilize her injuries at Miami Valley Hospital.
I am sure she and her family are going to need as much support as the Dayton equine community can muster in every way you can imagine.
Please keep her and her family in your prayers.

Closest thing to a sauna around here would to be tarping over a few cows, hold a bucket of water & light a match.

Prayers. Lots of them.
I just got back from the barn.
Her husband has help to run the farm during the workday for the immediate future. I plan on doing as much as I can to help him on the weeknights that I am there to ride and on weekends.
I'm sure help will be needed when she comes home.
I don't know.....this is overwhelming......I was riding in the clinic with her and all of this has shaken me to the core.

I've let a few people know--Kristen's been here a couple of times to ride in clinics & we're friendly. Poor thing! Please let those of us that aren't local know what we can do to help.

Oh, how sad! I teach very close to Cedarville and one of our teachers lives there. I wonder if she knows her.
Sending jingles!
