Have you considered SmartHoof? I started both of my horses on it last spring, when I was trying to keep my mare barefoot. That didn't work out, but both of them looked fantastic this summer! Their coats looked better than they have ever looked. It has a little bit of biotin, but also has copper and zinc.

It also has a probiotic which is cleared up my gelding's watery manure. I had tried ProBios, which did nothing. Whatever probiotic is in the SmartHoof worked wonders for him.

The SmartHoof would take care of the hoof supplement and probiotic, and then you would just need the MSM. I have never used the paks, I just buy the buckets.

HorseTech's MSM is made in the U.S.

newhorsemommy, that stuff looks good, but too expensive! It will be some months before I can confirm that my homemade smartpak is giving me the same benefits as the original, but the savings are substantial.
I tolerate all kinds of animal idiosyncrasies.
    I've found that I don't tolerate people idiosyncrasies as well. - Casey09
