Default Thin cotton pad for under Mattes pad

Need a thin cotton AP pad to go under my Large Mattes pad. Need wither relief, and a spine at least 25", but another inch would be nice. Saddle fitter recommended Back on Track or Mattes brand, but they are rather costly ($85-90) for a pad I'd like to throw into the wash often - ideally would like 2-3 to rotate.

    Any recommendations?

Ogilvy makes nice saddle pads that are sturdy, contoured and come in SIZES so you can get big enough ones to fit under your saddle:

You can get fancy piping etc too and at $60 or so a nice pad that will last and not super expensive.

Many thanks to M&B, these look like very nice pads. Saddle fitter took a look online for me, and may offer her another option also. I called rather than ordering online, since it was hard to tell about the colors. "Jack" was personable, this is obviously a smaller company, and I got wonderful service. Look forward to receiving the pad. I can tell you that if the pad is the quality I think it's going to be, I'll definately order more. They have dressage, jump and eventing (profile) options. Worth a look!

I use the Toklat pads as they are very breathable (many pads have foam)

Or I use the mattes pad on the horses back alone. Let air dry then brush with a wire slicker dog brush. Wash when gross. put in dryer on air fluff and looks brand new.
