Default recs for hunter paces in Georgia?

Some barnmates and I are interested in doing one next year, but we've never been to one. We'd want one with a pleasure division for sure for the weenier of those among us. ::cough:: me ::cough::.

    Thanks!

Well Ashland farm has one once a year. You've missed it this year. It's fun, low key and has a costume contest as well. They also do a black cat run over the cross country course as well. It's just a runtime all around. Shakerag hounds also has fun ones to go to that aren't to serious.

In Unison is perfect for newbies ...or people like bbird and myself who toodle along at a walk with our rock 'n rye flasks at the ready... until we see a jump... then we canter over it and immediately get back to walking, drinking - daintily of course - and gossiping.

Went to Ashland for the first time this year with a friend and had the time of our lives. Will definitely look into this spring HP of which you speak! DO keep us updated!

Not sure if they still host them, but Shakerag Hounds (?) up in N. GA used to host a couple every year, I think. If memory serves me correctly, they are north-ish of Commerce. When I lived in GA, Gus and I had a blast going to the hunter paces and poker rides they had out there. Lots of fun and good times.
