Hi everyone! Thanks for using SmartPaks, and for the great discussion. We wanted to jump in and clear a few things up. With regards to the U-Gard dosing, we’ve received explicit permission from the manufacturer (Corta-Flx, Inc.) to offer the once-daily dosing, which means they’re confident the product will work just as well if fed once per day in SmartPaks.
Regarding the pricing on AM/PM doses, many posters have already correctly noted that the adjustment on these particular SmartPaks was reflective of not only the raw ingredient and supplement manufacturer price increases, but more so of the fact that we’re shifting our pricing policy to accurately reflect the additional materials, packaging, shipping and other labor these orders require.
At SmartPak, we are riders and horse owners ourselves, so please know that we don’t make these adjustments lightly, and that we work hard to keep our prices friendly to an in-barn budget. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our friendly and helpful Customer Care team members, who are always happy to help optimize your SmartPaks for your horse and your budget. Last but not least, don’t forget to take advantage of the many ways we work hard to help save riders time and money, including free shipping every day on orders over $75, free return shipping on sized items, supplements that are guaranteed to work (http://www.smartpakequine.com/smarts...nts-849pc.aspx) and 10% savings on all SmartPak brand tack, apparel and gear for riders who use SmartPaks (http://www.smartpakequine.com/Search...8Descending%29).
Most importantly, thanks for being SmartPak customers, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if there’s anything we can do to serve you better in the future. Have a great ride!
I don't purchase supplements for my horses anymore unless I know where they were manufactured. Specificly, the country of origin. That leaves most of the supplements off of my list. Oddly, my horses are doing great on high quality hay mix and grain made in the USA. Just something to think about.

I also used to order Gain & Gleam Supreme 60 from you at your recommended dose of 1 ounce a day. When another boarder ordered from another source, I learned that the manufacturer's recommended dose is actually 2 ounces for weight gain. When your dosage is different than the manufacturer's label information, could you at least let people know so that we don't feel misled?
