Default Registration papers say "Birth Size: 1"- what does this mean?

My CWB's electronic pedigree page on the CLRC website includes birth date, registration date, date castrated, and birth size, which it says is "1". What does this mean, and what scale is it out of? Just curious!

Aha! After more super-sleuthing, I managed to find the answer to my own question.

Birth size apparently refers to the number of foals birthed at the same time. 1 means one foal, 2 means twins, etc.

Source: http://www.themanestreet.com/forums/...ad.php?t=24755. The person who posted the answer obtained the information directly from the CLRC.
