I inherited some overwraps for standing wraps, and I love them. I just don't know exactly what they're called. Different tack shops seem to have different names. I use them over no-bows; they are a bit slippery (polyester?), are wider than polos by about an inch and a half, have a little stretch to them, and have velcro. My horse LOVES them. Previously I used traditional flannels over the no-bows, and he would remove them, shred them, and then either hang them or toss them out the window. I mean I went through a flannel a day. These stretchier wraps he leaves completely alone.
I'd like to order more, and I don't want to get more flannels that have no stretch to them. What should I order? Thanks!
Standing wraps? That sounds like what you're describing and what should be used with no bows. To my knowledge fleece polos shouldn't be applied with anything else?
When my mare bowed her tendon (then her sesamoidian ligament) she practically lived in standing wraps for ~6 months. These were by far my favorite and held up so well. I can still use them and I won't use any other brand: http://www.equusnow.com/products/vac...-bandages.html
