How often to get bearings greased on a trailer?

I bought a 2H 1999 Adams Steel Trailer back in September. In July of 2011 it had new tires, brakes, and bearings packed.

Should I have the bearings greased on a yearly basis?

I also want to get the support beams checked, and another tiedown or two welded on. I absolutely hate the the only tie downs are on the back corner of the trailer and not in a great position. I just know that my accident prone mare is going to hurt herself

Does anyone have experience with Trailers of the East Coast? I work fairly close to them so I could drop the trailer off during my lunch break.

Yes, Service yearly or more based on mileage, grease & seals, inspection - if you do not haul more than a few 1000 miles per year then that works - change tires between 4 & 5 years even if they look alright - check tire pressure before you haul every time - check lug nuts
    Risa ( soon )
