    Default Saddle consignment ?

Looking to send a saddle out on consignment. Thought I would ask here to see who would be recommended? Good or bad experiences? Any advise?
    Thanks

What kind of saddle? highendusedsaddles.com is great to work with, she does have a section for "select" saddles which is saddles that aren't the expensive French/Italian ones. I think the commission is a tad less on those as well. There is always Rick's (saddlesource.com) I don't know if Beval takes non Beval's for consignment or not. They have them on their website but years ago they only did took their own. So maybe they have changed their policy. Another high end is fineusedsaddles.com, there is also usedsaddles.com. I'm trying to go through my head and think of all the places I visit on a regular basis! Farmhousetack.com, middleburgtack.com

I've had great experiences with Patricia at fineusedsaddles.com, both as a buyer and as a seller.

Ditto, I sold and bought saddles with Patricia! I would go to her again if needed. Oh, and the saddle I sold and then purchased a different tree size was a County!

IME, they were pretty low ball on offers, so see that as an option only if you are really in a hurry.

I am sending a saddle off to Patricia at fineusedsaddles this week, and will see how the experience goes. So far, I've been happy with the response to my initial inquiries. Commission of 20% was pretty standard, it seems, and she does get a lot of people looking through her site.

Contact Rachel Schaeffer at ISellTack.com. She lists them daily. She also has a Facebook page under the same name.

Another vote for Patrica at fine-used-saddles. Very professional and lovely to deal with. Got a Tad Coffin sold for good money that I had been trying to get rid of for ages.

I agree. The two saddles I inquired about selling were super low. One was an '07 Antares that was pretty much brand new but didn't have blocks. I think we sold that one at highendusedsaddles.com for like 2695. The offer I got to sell it at MD was I think around 1500.
