Recently my mom has been taking a real interest in helping me with my horses. Specifically my newest baby! It's kind of hard not to as she's a steal your heart kinda girl I'm planning on backing her this spring. I think it would make a great stocking stuffer to get my mom some DVDs so she could do some "homework" before helping me with my youngster. Also a great mother daughter night of popcorn and ice cream Anyone have suggestions on DVDs for training, breaking, working with young horses?
Before recommending training DVDs it would be helpful to know your experience and training philosophy to match a trainer with you and your mom. And if it's your mom's first venture into all things horsey, a primer in understanding horse psychology might also be a good idea. http://myonlinehorsetrainer.com might be a good start in that department.
