Default Horse Dragged 100 Yards Behind Truck by Owner

Warrant issued for the owner. I have no problem sending this guy to meet his maker. Warning: graphic image at link. Horse is trying to recover.

I hope they find the guy that did this and drag him behind a truck for 200 yards. What is wrong with people?!

That poor horse. He looks like such a kind boy. Hoping for a speedy recovery and a happy, safe, long life from here on out.

Throw the book at him. Then lots of stones. Then throw him off a cliff. That will be a start.

Agree with mac... there isn't torture enough to 'get even' with this sadist. I hope we learn that he's been caught by a cop who's an animal lover when there's no one with a camera around!

Seriously! A simple brush burn hurts like heck, imagine how much pain that poor horse is in after having all that skin dragged across pavement!

This is one of those cases that I feel a "like for like" punishment is in order. Actually, that would be too good because we'd have to stop the vehicle after 100 yards.

That poor horse...and yet after all that was done to him, he stills enjoys human interaction...

The Daily Mail had an artical several days ago about an older pit bull puppy drug for about a mile behind a pickup truck. Someone slipped puppy's leash over the
ball on his trailer hitch and driver didn't know it was there when he drove off.
Happened in Missouri....so far, puppy is doing well and they may be able to save a front leg.

I don't think this incident was an accident, it said the guy got out of the truck and kicked the horse at one point.

The punishments the courts dole out for these types of crimes always seem insufficient.

If this jerk is willing to do this to an innocent horse out of temper – what would he do to a child? To someone he got in an argument with?

This man has shown he is heartless, and makes very poor choices – not the type of person I would want lose in society.

What a horrible, disgusting human being. At least the horse is recovering. I can't even imagine the shape he was in when he got to the rescue.
Never approach a bull from the front, a horse from the rear or a fool from any direction.

    Poor horse.
Animal cruelty laws are not strong enough to punish people who do this. Chances are he will get a fine and that will be it.

Poor animal. I can't even understand the thought process behind doing something like this.
