I remember talking to someone who used to post here. She had a big grey that I believe was a Percheron cross. She was very particular about her mare. She seemed happy there. She has since PCS'd, and stopped posting, and hasn't come back here that I have noticed.
Some riders change their horse, they change their saddle, they change their teacher; they never change themselves.
Have you contacted the Hawaii Dressage Association? We have made 20 moves with our horses including a 2 year tour in Hawaii. I have found that contacting the dressage associations have given us an excellent source of information to the areas we are moving to and are a welcome to already have those contacts before making the big move. We boarded at Barber's Point in the Ewa Beach area. Here is the link for the dressage society. http://www.alohastatedressage.com I hope this helps as you get ready for your exciting move. Aloha!
