For some reason I always read meupatdoes as new potatoes. It's a weird brain glitch I guess.

If someone creates a false world because living in their own real world is unpleasant, painful, and/or unsatisfactory, the crumbling of the false world could be just as painful.

Unless/until we hear from Grataan that she made this all up as some kind of writing exercise or game, I am inclined to feel really sad for her and would encourage her to perhaps rejoin the COTH community as her "real" self (assuming the OP's post is in fact correct). I've read enough of her posts to believe that her real self would be welcomed and accepted - even if parts of her posts were fabricated, I still feel like we probably have a sense of the kind of human being she is.

I DON'T display all my bar cards. I used too, but my friends said it was tacky and made me look like an alcoholic, so I took them down.

Yeah, I took down all the things on my "vanity wall" years and years ago. I mean, who really cares about your diplomas and licenses and all that crap? If someone wants to see them, I'll pull them out of the files.

    A lady never tells.
A good horseman doesn't have to tell anyone...the horse already knows.

Might be a reason, never an excuse...

I always thought Lex was female and Bluey was male. Shows how much attention I actually pay to posters rather than posts...

"vile and nasty" doesn't narrow it down much.

It does exclude Lex and finders keepers.

oh and while we're talking about nice people: Alittlegray is back in the hospital in VA for the 8th time this year! Lex, are you near Fredricksburg? We need to send a beefcake to cheer her up in the hospital. Don't tell her husband we're sending you though. He's a marine.
Beefcake is a lot nicer to look at than are flowers. And you can entertain her with your wit.

I can MAKE a beefcake. And drive to FB. Does that count? LOL Maybe Lex and I could go together. He can be the cute man and I can bring food?

You have to be a serious piece of work to be "vile and nasty". I don't really know any locals who would fit both of those adjectives but I know plenty of nasty ones.
