There was a brief time in my life when more people IRL called me "AWG" or awggie than my actual first name.

I have since gotten a job where I actually have to *work* and a life not keyboard related.

Still, clinging to illusion is the source of human suffering. I recommend peanut butter and chocolate.

How many people have bought blue pop rocks because of what other people say on BB's? Who has used other medications on their horses even though their vet won't prescribe it because it is for dogs and not horses? All of this because wise Cother's said so.

Yes, but the most consistent advice they get is "call a vet." If they "most likely" follow that, good. They should.

I remember she would rant online about how people don't understand what a wonderful person she really is and why they should really take the time to get to know the real woman she was. Ironically, she was also VERY clingy with the COTHer she was leasing a horse from and the girl's Eventing coach who later became her coach as well after the girl she was leasing from got out of horses because she couldn't fit it in with taking college courses.
Seriously? What does this ongoing crap have to do with the OP? Can you start your own thread to further your discourse? thanks

On the other hand, while we are talking about sideline topics, what qualifies you to decide who should post what where?

What if the pathetic dreamlife laid open is someone who masquerades as a responsible breeder and turns out to be a hoarder?

Can someone give me a cheat sheet on how to "check credentials" on a poster? Do you PM them and ask, assuming that if they won't provide creds the poster is a faker?

It depends on what they are saying/claiming/presenting but when you get right down to it, you can't really check someone's credentials unless they have made specific statements about themselves and what they do in relation to what they are saying that points towards a verifiable identity. Everything else is just a matter of sorting through whatever they are saying and determining fact from fiction.

Wow, I just found this thread and Lex has totally destroyed my keyboard ( by proxy.) He's like Snoopy, I don't want to know them as I have my own fantasies. . . but they are both always relevant.

Yikes I just realized this needs it's own thread (you were kidding? right?)

There is a well known correlation between peanut butter and chocolate being combined and leading to happiness. It's been proven time and again. Even the Internet backs it up.

This situation should have been handled by notifying the Moderators who could then ban the user if warranted.

Wow - I have never lied on COTH. Does that mean I have been doing it wrong all these years?

P.S. - I am not a pony, but I do have a tatoo. Does that make me painted?

Well, my sig line used to be "he's not really a pony, and I'm really not pony aged, either". That happened after I met some COTHers IRL and they were shocked, shocked, I say, that I'm not a small child. Perhaps I should be concerned about that ...

    And perhaps not.
