I originally bred my mare for myself. My TB was injured and 18 so I retired him and found a stallion that I loved.
That foal is now 4 and will be my derby hunter. I do everything myself. I have 4 horses at home am a chef which is very time consuming, but love having my horses at home.
I decided to keep breeding my mare for hunter prospects because the first one was so nice. I do have mine for sale but I don't advertise a lot. I think they are fairly priced and great hunter prospects!
I don't expect to make money, I would love for them to go to good show homes though!
Have you contacted Tannis Bennet in Saskatchewan, Canada? Flying One Ranch? They stood Radjah Z, and have a few top hunter prospects each year that are usually bought by savvy folks on the west coast, who hang onto them until they are older. Escapade is one by Radjah, he is in California with John French if I remember right. She has a FB page.
