Exclamation 177 Confiscated Miniature Horses being auctioned off Dec 8 in Grants Pass, OR

I don't think this has been posted here yet. I would love to take one in but don't have room. Hopefully some COTHers can take some of these adorable guys in.

Good lord! Thank God minis are usually fat on air, hopefully most of them were in ok shape, weight wise.

    Cute pups in the photo.

ETA: ok, never mind. Looked through the auction pics. Some looked bad, one looked atrocious for a mini!

How sad - so many in horrible condition.

    Here's links to their story.

It's been posted a couple of times but never seems to stay long. Probably because most of COTH is too far away. There are a couple I'd love to take home but it would be a 12+ hour drive one way and there is no way I can leave the farm for a full weekend.

I can only imagine what happened to these poor little guys . We have around 200 horses, hundreds of acres, a staff of over 20 people, a farrier that comes out 2 full days per week, and vets on call that could probably make a decent living even if we were their only client. Just one guy and all those animals is impossible.
