I am posting in the eventing forum because I thought this might be where I get the best response. Many years ago a friend and I attended rolex. There was a vendor there who was selling gloves. I would say it was at least five years ago, but could be more like seven, I can't quite remember.
They came in all colours of leather and the leather was a special kind of ethiopian hair sheep. They had half-weave gloves for spring, winter insulated gloves and full leather show gloves. There were pink and teal and brown and all colours.
I bought two pair and they were the best investment I ever made. I sadly lost one pair years ago but still use the winter ones all the time. I've never had gloves that lasted so long or were so comfortable.
Can anyone help me find these again? I've googled to no avail.
Aren't they *the best gloves* ever???
Haha, I just realized I am wearing them in my photo below \/
Yes! BEst gloves ever. As far as price, worth every penny. I've worn through 3 $30 pairs in the time these have lasted. Also, the winter ones are warm and flexible, the perfect combination of traits in a winter riding glove. I've been wearing them every winter since I bought them and they're still going stong! That makes them worth the money in my opinion.
I wouldn't have needed to 'find' them again if I hadn't lost my warm weather pair.
