Looking for a trainer near College Station, TX
So I decided to come to the dark side (I ride predominantly western and own AQHA and APHA) and I'm buying a TB mare. She is trained for both western and english and I'd like to be able to do some shows with her. However, my english needs some work and I need to find a trainer to haul in to lessons with. I'm a vet student so during the semester I don't have much time available except maybe 1-2 times a month to haul in for one hour lessons. So I need someone who will be able to be like "work on X, fix Y" so that I can work on those things when I'm riding at home. I would love some trainer suggestions as I am totally clueless on trainers in the english world.
And because I'm wicked excited about this mare here are a few pictures of her from the seller:

Call Janet Marden. She is a local vet and can connect you up.

Wowza - I love your new girl! Janet's place is Leaning Oaks. I have a couple of friends who rode/ride there and all have great things to say about it.

Thanks Jo! I'm super excited about her, she's the first horse I'll have ever owned that is actually a predominantly english horse and will have been trained to go over jumps. All my current horses just kind of do it because I ask them to but they aren't excited about jumping, they would rather do trail rides or work with cows so this should be a fun new adventure for me.

What about Denali?
I think Denali Sport Horses (sarah denham) is near you.

Amanda Merritt is training out of Janet's barn and she is awesome!
I think Sarah does mainly dressage, but she is wonderful as well.
Laura Welsh does a great job too!
It's gonna be hard to decide!
4..3..2..1...Have a nice ride!!!

Thanks jackalini! It seems that everyone is suggesting the same few trainers over and over again so I'll go and meet them all and see who fits my needs best :-)
