Decal/graphic for farm logo on horse trailer in MD...please advise
Hi-
Got a new trailer Saturday , and there is an old (big!) sponsor logo on either side. We removed it, so now there is the bright aluminum vs. faded logo design still remaining (if that makes sense). And I've had beef with the company displayed, so I'm reallly not too pleased to drive down the road with their visible logo.
Can I do anything to diminish it? Its not glue, just looks like fading.
So...I guess the solution is to put our farm logo on there as an early xmas present to SO. Any advice on decals vs. graphics vs. those magnetic signs? I've never had one put on before so am a bit clueless. Would like it to be very professional looking, willing to pay for installation as I'm sure I'd screw it up.
We are in Northern MD, any suggestions who to use?
TIA

Vista print is offering free car magnets today. They are not super big, maybe 8x10 inches or so. Its a start anyway.

If in the area Signs by Tomorrow in Owings Mills ask for Randy(hopefully he is still there), did all our company trucks looks great! There are other locations I think they are all independentally owned so can't speak for their quality.

Acid wash the rest of trailer to try to even it up.

Another vote for Signs by Tomorrow. They do good work fast and I have found them to be reasonably priced.

I looked on the site and did not see anything. Do you have a link?

You can design your own and they come in a million different shapes. They're a kind of fabric decal and you can peel it off and repaste it tons of times. While they're marketed as wall decals, I checked it out and they should hold up well on a car or trailer. I haven't had mine on my trailer for that long to be able to vouch for it on my own experience, but it still looks perfect after the first few months and the manufacturer's website says it has been tested outdoors.

Magnets won't stick to an aluminum trailer.

Thanks for heads up re:graphics. Enlighten me on acid washing? I'll put in a call to signs by tomorrow.
