They picked the wrong mystical creature. A unicorn - pfft. Anyone can glue a horn to a horse's head. Now Pegasus, that's where it's at!!

No, the North Korean government did not claim it found evidence of unicorns

    http://io9.com/5964879/no-the-north-...ce-of-unicorns

The English release poorly translated the name of a historical location, Kiringul, as "Unicorn Lair," a very evocative name for Westerners. But in Korean history, the name Kiringul has a rather different significance. Kiringul is one of the sites associated with King Tongmyŏng, the founder of Koguryŏ, an ancient Korean kingdom. The thrust of the North Korean government's announcement is that it claims to have discovered Kiringul, and thus to have proven that Pyongyang is the modern site of the ancient capital of Koguryŏ.

When I read this I thought nah it's a joke. Then I realize the North Koreans are serious about it
Yes, I smell like a horse. No, I don't consider that to be a problem.

Could I link to your picture? Another BB is discussing NK and Fat Boy and would enjoy it.

Beautiful horse. I actually like the stirrup covers, sure would help with the small branches that like to poke through. Is that a string girth? I like that too?

You need to put a copyright on that pic. I have a feeling it is going to go viral...

SAJE, I appreciate your explaination over the translation.

I asked about the stirrip cover(s) when I originally posted the Onion joke about him. A fellow mounted to the far left of him in the original pict had a different type of stirrup cover I also had never seen before.

    Absolutely link to it

Not sure about the copyright. It is a derivative work, I filched it from the Chinese news service article that bit the Onion and adapted someone else's horn. Probably protected by "satire" but ya know... It's just funny hope the world enjoys the laugh
