    Default Don Burt passes away

    http://www.aqha.com/News/News-Articl...-Don-Burt.aspx

I am posting in Off Course because Don Burt transcended many disciplines. Now all three of the notable Southern California horsemen from my youth are gone... Clyde Kennedy, Jimmy Williams, and Don Burt.

It's a "KILT". If I wore something underneath, it would be a "SKIRT".

Indeed, a sad and significant loss.

Saw this several days ago on EN. In the 1970s when I lived in E. Oregon Don Burt came often to judge our local shows. He and Clyde Kennedy (RIP) were some of the favorite judges. Went to a symposium in Wash. State around that same time that Burt was speaking/doing a clinic at--enjoyed it and learned a lot.

They don't make them like they used to. I was so sad to hear that he had passed on.

Thanks for the many memories (and ribbons, LOL).

Don had a Grand and Honorable Life. He was true to his standards, was thoughtful and considerate, set the bar very high and aimed for it every day.
    He was a Gentleman
