    Default Stock Ties question.

I hope I'm not offending anyone here but need some assistance. My mom is trying to start sewing again ( 71 years old widow) and she is making stock ties for local Horse club. They are loving them so far, but we can't figure out is what is the normal length sizes. she has figured out from them there is a wide and a narrow but is there different lengths? any help would be great she's trying to find something to do during the day & she used to sew for the Armed Services but has retired from it. Thank you again and I hope its ok to ask this question.

    Thank you
    Charles K.

I dont think there is a stsndard size, but most often longer is better because it stsys tucked in better. If she maybe offered to copy the length of a tie a person already has and likes it might be good, or if they have one thats okay but offer to lengthen/shorten as needed it might be a nice option.
