    Thank you. Your precise plan for your mare made me laugh out loud. Mares rarely cooperate fully, and a maiden is very unpredictable. It really sounds from your post that showing your mare is high priority. I would say that if you can't do ET with her, I'd wait and breed her at a later time. First off, bringing a pregnant mare to shows is a risk. The stress is high and she could be exposed to 'bugs' that would make her sick. And starting a first time mother back to work after a short time, is not wise. It is not fair to the mare or the foal. They need to hang out and bond.

    Is this by any chance the same mare that had the really bad ulcers?
