    Default Dressage in Israel?

I plan to be in Israel for a couple weeks and will miss my regular lessons. Whenever I travel I enjoy finding and taking a lesson "out of town"... Israel would be a first. Does anyone have any referrals for trainers in Israel who would be willing to give a lesson or two to a visitor? Thanks!

If you can't find a riding center, why not tour some local barns?

Susanne Von Dietze lives in Israel. Look up her books. She's amazing!

She's on the staff of INTRA, a therapeutic riding facility. Maybe you could contact them?

    A helmet saved my life.

2014 goal: learn to ride like TheHorseProblem, er, a barn rat!

There used to be a barn called The Polo Club very near or in Tel Aviv that I took lessons at the summers that we stayed there. They had a variety of jumping and dressage horses with some decent instructors all of whom spoke English. Might still be around.

Thanks, ddashaq - is there any chance you meant The Jockey Club?

Ha! You are right! I was thinking one thing and typed another, sorry about that. It was years ago that I rode there, but there horses back then were nice and the instructors seemed knowledgeable.

Great, ddashaq - I figgered that was the case.

Great lead. Also a seat lesson with Susanne Von Dietze sounds totally awesome if she's available. I'm also working on getting in touch with the Israel Equestrian Federation (IEF, like FEI from right-to-left lol).

Thanks again for all your help!
