    What breed was Bunny?? Anybody know?

    I don't know, but I remember the horse--but only from maybe one or two episodes. Didn't they race her on or around Christmas Day in one?

    In the books, "Bunny" was a mule, born to a mustang mare that Pa had traded for. Don't know what the horse in the TV series was.

    wirewiener, didn't the book always refer to Bunny as Bunny the long eared mule colt?

    So was Bunny a him, or was this one of those "colts" that is just a young horse of any sex?
