Default This is a Morgan You Can Count On!

We all should have a horse like this.

A hugely iconic and popular photo in its day of Warren
Patriquin taking parade photos in Boston, while standing on the rock steady Morgan stallion Lippitt Victory to get a better vantage point. Lippitt Victory, a foal of 1942, was by Lippitt Searchlight x Lippitt Sally Ash, by Ashbrook.

I read your post like 5 times before I figured out that you meant you had 2 horses you could do that on, not that you had two Morgans (thought you were holding out on me there for a minute! LMAO!)

If it was up to You-Know-Who, I'm sure we'd have more than just one Morgan LMAO!!

Love it. I'm pretty sure I could do that with my Lippitt Morgan too...

LOL - I could probably do that with my Lippitt too. Until I lost my balance and fell on my head.

Finally!! Justification for all the "standing on the back" ads you see for horses for sale out here in the Dakotas

But yeah - sure shows the sanity of old-time Morgans in general!

Mike you should have known the Ashbrook - Lippitt Sally is good offspring... our Shamrock Foxie Joy is a grand daughter of Lippitt Billy Ash by Ashbrook and Lippitt Sally

not only steady, but broad enough to boot. Might be harder to do on the modern version.

GO Morgans...they do it all, as the slogan says!

Hey, he's from my home town and I went to school with his kids! That's a cool photo. I'm a huge Morgan fan, too.

Love that photo Mike, thanks for sharing it. I remember Morgans more in that way, and am not a big fan of the more modern versions. Morgans are a truly cool breed.
