It's been awhile but I have some great updates!
It was a long stressful winter but we made it through. Henn pulled through his surgery and months of bandage changes/stall rest. He did end up needing to have skin graphs but they were luckily a fairly uneventful process.
Back in April I moved Henn back to NJ. He enjoyed his cushy box stall on the air-ride rig so much that despite being very happy to see me he would NOT get off! Took nearly half an hour to "persuade" him. Once unloaded he quickly settled in and I put his SOUND self to work. Our dreamy goal for the summer was some fun local dressage shows. We recently had our last show where Henn was reserve for his starter horse division. So happy my boy is safe happy and SOUND! We are continuing to enjoy each other and dreaming of next summer. And I am going into this semester more happy/relaxed then ever!
Thank you all for your jingles and good vibes!
