Anyone know how these work?
They seem to be a big secret, even the rep is unable to give me a technical explanation.
The youtube videos are useless, although this one (about another patented system?) seems to explain it a bit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TiADRzMe6Do
I am wondering if they are worth it and how durable they are, if say changing them twice a day between horses.
(I am picturing a paper clip that you bend once, twice, three times, etc until it weakens and breaks.)
Just responded to your other thread, and it'll answer a lot of your questions from this thread. For example, I see you're in the (very big) club of consumers who confuse the RTF system and the Genesis system. It's an easy mistake to make, but they're not the same. They have pretty much nothing in common besides "they both involve an allen wrench to adjust the saddles."
As for durability, there isn't a single system on the market that's designed for daily adjustment IMHO. But certainly, some adjustable gullet systems are more hardy than others. The RTF would be among the more hardy.
