Jet had her left rear ankle injected with cortisone on 11/27. She's going pretty nicely on it, but it seemed like a good plan to go ahead and do something systemic as well. We had done 2 weeks of equioxx with no substantial improvement before the injection.
Riding in the trailer seemed to bother her more than anything, so I'm going to do a short trailer rider today, just to see how that does, and I hope to do an easy trail ride tomorrow. I've been riding her at home, and she seems fine, but that isn't "real" riding (no real terrain changes, we get bored pretty fast).
I am hopeful that this will be the 1-2 punch that brings my best girl back to me as a trail horse.
