Thank you for the post and the link... She is lovely. Arthur will love her, in part because she is sired by Contango... and he has always loved Contango.

Beautifully ridden. Yes, some boo-boos in her test, but the ride was almost flawless.
Thank you for posting it.
Some riders change their horse, they change their saddle, they change their teacher; they never change themselves.

I would love to ride with EG for a while to learn about polish. I suspect some of it comes from dealing with Gribaldi's fits, but every horse he rides seems to go along perfectly polished for that level and perfectly obedient. He should teach show ring spit-shine master classes.
And yes, lovely horse/ride.
My horse is a dressage diva so I don't have to be.

I just stumbled upon this video last week, and then I found this thread. What a fancy, fancy mare!
Here's a more recent freestyle with Asther de Jeu.

The music really suits her, don't you think?

Oi. Gorgeous. I love her expressive lightness. I especially liked her nice quick light changes but I would've liked her tempis to be a little free-er in the shoulder? I am a dressage novice but I really like her. Gal gives her a beautiful ride. Awesome music.. I agree, perfect.

Oh dear, I want even more. Does this mean, dare I hope, that despite the Glock contract, that Gal will continue riding and competing Asther? Of course, not being GP, she's not yet a threat to either Romanov or Undercover, but I know who I'd put my money on if that time came. There's a glaring difference seeing Gal ride a horse that he's brought along from the start. It does my heart good to see his genuinely happy face, compared to relief, at the end of that ride.
Thanks for posting, Larkspur.

Lovely mare - thanks, Alicen and Larkspur. I was admiring EG's patent leather boots--shiny shiny

Yeah, wouldn't that be something?
From what I understand after riding with one of Gal's students, he is a top-notch horseman through and through. Bad behavior and sloppy handling aren't tolerated, and the horses in his barn are well adjusted and well behaved.
Apparently the Glock contract does not prevent him from competing with other horses, but if it did that would be very sad.

Where did that thread go in which the OP was looking for videos of "wow" moving mares?
