Baucher French Link?
Where to find a nice Baucher French link or oval mouth bit?
I like the JP Kortsteel type of bits, since they have curved bars.
But I don't think they make a french link Baucher, that I can find.
The regular Korsteel looks like it might pinch - since that one has the seam between the bars and the shank right at edge of horse's mouth.
Anyone have a Baucher with a double joint that they like?

See, BGH, I think that one would pinch at the corners of the mouth. I am probably being a ninny, though.
I did just find this one, a Dewsbury Kangaroo that has the different corners that might not pinch..... and it says curved mouth, added bonus! Price stinks, of course.

Reason: misspelled "Dewsbury"

You don't have to buy the expensive Stubben one -- I have both the Happy Mouth one and the Korsteel one, the seam is flush and there is no pinching issues. Love them both and horse does too.

I have the Steubben one and it's beautifully made. The mouth is German silver and the upper rings are slightly turned out so it doesn't pinch. While it isn't cheap, it's half the price of the HSS version (and twice the price of the Centerline or Happy Mouth). My horse went okay in his Centerline version ($31), but he seems to like the Steubben better, and I like the way it fits better.
