Ahh.... I'd like to introduce to you the grand, D ring (obviously), waterford bit. At least I believe that is what it is called. Do you own it? Do the little balls roll? if so, it is a waterford (I believe so, its been a few months since my last tack-shop extravaganza, and my horses are happy in their bits.
I have the same bit in a full cheek. I bought it used and the seller called it a "roller ball" full cheek. It doesn't really "roll" though, just flexes. It’s similar to a Waterford, but doesn’t fully collapse. The closest I’ve found is this Pessoa bit but it’s not the same… http://www.saddlersrow.com/Pessoa-Ro.../290464734.htm
I’ve been looking for a Dee ring and can’t find one anywhere.
Please let me know if you know where I can purchase one in a Dee. Thank you!
Myler makes a triple barrel. You can order it in any cheek. http://mylerbitsusa.com/images/barre...nt_and_Top.jpg
I used this bit on a pony of mine years ago. I liked the way it worked for him.
This is not the same as a Waterford bit. It collapses very, very little and the barrels roll.
