For sure! Much as I am feeling ripped off when I read these posts and realize how much more gas costs here in MA than in other parts of the US, I will say that, when driving to Montreal, I always gas up before I hit the border...I try not to buy gas in Canada if I can avoid it....we have it pretty cheap compared to Quebec.
And we make sure we fill up in Ontario before we enter Quebec!! We actually got quite the deal last time... we ended up filling up with premium for the price of regular because the gas station had run out of regular!!
Paid $3.89/gal for super yesterday, and regular is at $3.69 here in the wine country in California. Ouch, ouch and oh wait ouch!!!! I have to put super in one of my cars and that is so painful! She only goes out on the weekends now!
It was about $4.65 here (if I've done the math correctly). I live ten minutes from the Quebec border and am always shocked at the the difference in price.
It always makes me roll my eyes just a little (as not to offend anyone) when folks in the US complain about the price of gas- I suppose it's what you're used to though. It (and the price in Canada) does seem awfully cheap when compared to places like Europe and NZ!
